Make an appointment with your GP (family doctor). Please be open and do not worry about what to say: just share what you’re going through. If your GP thinks that you could benefit from talking to a mental health professional, they will decide if Basis or Specialist "GGZ" is right for you.
When you go to the GP, already identify a GGZ covered by your insurance which can provide you support according to your status. Based on the information you provide, this can help tremendously in reducing waiting times to access the help you need.
